Hail Dwarves and Trolls!
A small update on the progress of Dwarves of Iron Peak.
Miniatures
I was sent pictures of the final plastic miniatures that have been produced along with their colored bases. The bases will also fit the Cave Spiders and Crud if you need to switch things up.
The Dwarven Heavy crossbow can also be seen here in one of the Lancers hands.
A friendly Blue Cave Spider and Crud...bahh! NEVER! Not on MY watch!
Boxes and Boxes
Boxes of DoIP at the factory. I was very excited to see these images of the DoIP boxes and how they are assembled. Hopefully I will receive more images of stacks of boxes and other components soon.

DoIP boxes on the "Green Box Mover Thing". Or "Green Convoy of DoIP". Actual equipment names not confirmed!
A DELICIOUS stack of boxes. *droool* ...It's almost like 5 boxes of Twinkies stacked up, next to cases of soda.
Plastic Tray
And now...THE Plastic Tray we have all been waiting for! Ok, mainly just me. A fairly long delay but it was better than having all miniatures in a plastic bag, tossed into their own black hole. I am very happy with the results!
Room for all. I am told the double sided Cave/Swamp board will fit nicely on top.
Even the creepy crawly Cave Spiders have a place to rest their long pouncing legs. Yes, two Lancers are missing...from battle, or they escaped.
I am told we can talk about shipping from China early May. I don't want to guess on any other dates as I have been wrong before with these unexpected delays. Refer back to previous Updates for pictures of the other components as they should be very similar in the finals. I do expect to get more pictures so I will send those on as soon as I get them.

Hail Dwarves and Trolls!
I am waiting on an update from the manufacturer at this point.
We are delayed about one to two months now mainly due to a few production issues and miscommunications on the build of the plastic insert that will hold the miniatures. The miniatures needed to be molded and prepared for mass production before the mold design could be made to 'seat' each miniature. This is better than the alternative which was having all the miniatures in a plastic bag, sunk into a deep hole. There were also a few issues with production of the master miniatures and color reproduction issues on the cards and board. All of these iterations take many days, sometimes weeks, of back and forth emails before the next step can be taken.
I am told all of the printed components have been completed so I am just waiting for pictures or video on those as well as being able to see the design of the new plastic insert for the miniatures.
As you all know, this is a one man team here and I doing my best to keep on top of things. At certain points during the manufacturing process the best I can do is email and wait for an update on everything.
I know everyone wants to know when they will have their copy in hand, to be honest with you...I just don’t know. I don’t want to even begin to speculate, anymore, until I get a concrete answer in the form of a shipping report from the manufacture. Once I have the information of when I will receive the product, then I can better answer when you will be receiving your rewards.

Production Update [ Metals/Add-Ons/Play ]

I have some exciting stuff to show you. Let us begin!
Metals for The Troll
I am very happy to finally tell you that the talented John Popson from Effincool Miniatures is working on the molds and castings of the pewter miniatures for "The Troll" version of DoIP. Once I have images to show you I will send them on.
Delicious Add-Ons
The experienced team at Valiant Enterprises Ltd have produced molds and masters as well as samples for all of the Add-Ons. Check them out below! These are the initial runs and they will be cleaned up from here. I am really impressed with the quality of their work and I can't wait to get these into your hands.
Take a look at the Dwarves of Iron Peak base game all laid out. One flap of the board is flipped over to show the slimy waters of the Bog. All miniatures come unpainted.

Yes, the Cave Spiders come unpainted too. Someone loves to eat Dwarves!
Demise of MurkMaw
During lunch we played a bit of DoIP. The Quest was "Demise of MurkMaw". I even left out one Cave Spider to give my opponent a chance. I was MurkMaw and he played the nasty, greedy Dwarves.
It already didn't look good, but one Dwarf was poisoned and a few more were about to get eaten!
Dwarven Warrior's using their defense stance kept my spiders at bay. One of my tentacles gone, another on the way, I should have regenerated!
When the dice are against you. Dwarf was not on the menu...this turn.
One Dwarf had succumb to poison, but the others moved in. I tried to eat to fill my belly but the Dwarves had their day. MurkMaw sunk below the murky waters of the Bog.
Armory spotted!
I went out to lunch the other day and low and behold, this establishment was obviously preparing their Dwarven Great Lance Armory!

Hail Dwarves and Trolls!
I wanted to update you quick on our progress. There were a few snags as the manufacturing company provided new card and box art templates, which meant all the source art needed to be adjusted to match for printing. But that's behind us now and the updated files have been submitted.
White Sample
Check out the provided White Sample below. This was sent for approval on the materials before they print the production sample. From here we go into a full color samples of all printed components, including initial production samples of the miniatures!

Every card I design starts with a rough sketch, an ink pass, then the page is scanned and digitally cleaned and colored for the final print.
