Hail Dwarves & Trolls!
I want to give you a quick update on the status of things with Dwarves of Iron Peak. Manufacturing chats and re-quotes are going well and the rest of the artwork and component finals are being worked on as we speak.
And now...
A look at some Crud!
Crud hides in the Bog of MurkMaw spending most of his time poisoning his arrows and eating small critters. He is able to hide from almost anything, unless they get really close to him. Crud uses his action points to hide, three Crud Tokens are placed adjacent to his miniature, then his miniature is removed from the board. Crud is then able to use the rest of his AP for moving each token in any direction. Only one of these tokens hide the true Crud! He is never alone though so watch out for his nasty Spider companions!
Surveys are going out soon. I am still working with BackerKit to get everything situated. I want to make sure that backers don't get charged extra shipping and everything is correct before I put these out. I appreciate your patience!

A Closer Look At MurkMaw
I wanted to give you a closer look at MurkMaw's parts and some of its abilities.
MurkMaw will have a cardboard '3 hex' sized head. The head can be moved around but it really doesn't need to rotate unless you want to spend the extra action points to get that much closer. The head is able to devour Dwarves on a successful roll when they either get too close or they are pulled in by the Tentacles!
It will also have 4 Tentacles that can either Whip or Grab & Drag Dwarves towards the mouth. Each turn the entangled Dwarf is able to roll to free himself from MurkMaw's grasp.
MurkMaws Head and all four Tentacles have their own health and can work independently from one another with a few restrictions.

The dreaded MurkMaw will also have Special Abilities that it can use such as;
Submerge - The Head or a Tentacle can slip below the swampy waters to then reappear most likely behind the dwarven lines!
Respawn - At great cost to MurkMaw, it is able to respawn one of its lost tentacles. Max 4 tentacles.
Heal - MurkMaw spends Action Point to heal its Head.

Print & Play and 3D Files
This pains me in my fat dwarven belly, but I need to push back the Print & Play and the release of the 3D Files.
The Print & Play version of DoIP relies heavily on the base game being 100% complete. Until this is done and everything is edited I can't release the Print & Play. I want to make sure that the files I put together for my Print & Play backers represent Dwarves of Iron Peak as closely as I can get them.
Dealing with the 3D Files for the Miniatures. I've been wrestling with a lot of warnings I've received about releasing the 3D files for DoIP before the actual game is sent to the manufacturers. I want to protect the base game as much as I can so unfortunately I can't release the 3D Files until it's finished.

I've been hard at work getting everything prepared. All of the components for Dwarves of Iron Peak (DoIP!) are getting tweaked so the art/design you now see will have 16-23% more Dwarf Awesomeness in the end.
Custom Dice
They live! The custom dice designs are up and ready to be voted on. There may be a few straggling artists with their designs that get added later. From these designs we can mix and match. Feel free to vote and comment!
One of the biggest changes that I am working on is the addition of the Quest Book. Also both the Rule Book and the Quest Book will be getting a size upgrade to nice a ~8x10 format. This will especially help with the Quest Book so you are able to see the layout and details of each Quest. The previous manual was 5x8 so a lot of formatting changes are being done as well as edits.

I was so busy with wrapping everything up that I didn't get a chance to send out this update saying Thank You for your support! I couldn't have done this without you. The Kickstarter was a crazy roller-coaster ride but we came out looking great and I know that you will enjoy DoIP!

The Pre-Order store is up if you know anyone that missed the Kickstarter. These will have the Kickstarter exclusives but will only be available for a limited time. ** This is not for existing Backers. Existing Backers will be sent a Survey where you can see your Reward and then select any AddOn items. Those will be sent out soon!

UNLEASH THE MURMAW!
Look at what YOU have unleashed upon the Dwarves of Iron Peak. During their journey to the Trolls lair they must pass through the Bog, which is now the Bog of MurkMaw! The MurkMaw stretch goal has been obtained and also brings with it colored bases for Dwarf 3/4 player games!
This is upon you my friend...look what you have DONE!
